An online software tutorial series was a key component to a proposal for one of Europe's largest financial institutions. With over 1,900 branches in the UK, this customer now represents the largest win for GMT Corporation to date, totalling over $750,000 in license and services revenue

As Director of Marketing at GMT Corporation, I built an integrated launch platform (marketing programs, speaking engagements, events, podcasts, white papers, trade journal articles and online advertising) and rolled out new messaging at an industry trade show. All messaging revolved around the tagline, Real Time Analysis. Real For Time Decisions. This new collateral kit armed the sales force with a clear, consistent value proposition and defined message to take to the marketplace and win new customers.

As an angel investor in this enterprise notification software company, iRgent Communications, we needed to establish ourselves as a leader in this emerging well as define it! Our small company had the technology and the star power (former executives from Yahoo! and Intellisync) on its team to do something pretty revolutionary. Under very tight budgets and even tighter timelines, I built marcom programs that generated leads, awareness and provided necessary sales tools to get the word out. The new positioning spoke to our strong expertise in mobile/wireless messaging--and to a promising future. Quickly, we established a reputation for innovative technology, which made us an attractive acquisition target for a recognized industry leader like Premiere Global Services (NYSE: PGI). PGS acquired majority stake in the venture for $4.6 Million in May 2006 and purchased remaining shares in August 2006 for $3.2 Million.
GMT lacked thought provoking, educational content; instead, were emphasizing sales content and in-person demonstrations--which was more relevant in the later stages of the buying process. To supplement a trade show event, a podcast of GMT's customer presentation was developed to help generate qualified leads and pull prospects through each stage of their buying process.
As Director of Marketing at this young, successful workforce optimization software company, I launched a new robust (and search engine friendly) web site that communicates GMT's myriad of solutions to financial services and contact centers. The new site marries with the look and feel of rebranded collateral and corporate messaging and places a strong emphasis on customer successes with case studies, podcasts and customer videos. The new and improved website now serves as a lead aquisition source for the sales team
In 2003, I joined Synchrologic, then a struggling Georgia Tech startup company with over $50 Million in venture capital investment with a balance sheet in the red. I lead marketing and events during a restructuring, repositioning and re-branding of the company. With a new consolidated product line and laser sharp focus and we positioned Synchrologic for sale within 6 months and merged with Intellisync Corporation that Fall. By transforming the combined company and brand to a worldwide leader in wireless email and mobile software for the enterprise and wireless carrier markets, we were then well suited to be acquired by Nokia for $480M. By relaunching our website as a mobile and wireless knowledge center, we were able to drive traffic 500 percent in three months and increased downloads of our mobile email software more than 30-fold.
